Welcome to the Anglican Diocese of Dunedin's website.  The Diocese of Dunedin covers the provinces of Otago and Southland in the lower South Island of New Zealand.  It includes about thirty parishes as well as social service agencies in Dunedin and Invercargill, rest homes, a psycho-geriatric hospital, a girls' school and a University hall of residence.

Please follow the links on the left to find out more about the Diocese of Dunedin.  If you're new to the Diocese or the Anglican Church, About Us contains more information about the Diocese, and a link to our Beginner's Guide to the Anglican Church.

If you're looking for an Anglican church in your area, go to the Parishes page.  To find out about the other organisations associated with the Diocese, see the Programmes & Organisations page.  The News page has more information about what's going on in the Diocese, as well as a link to a calendar of Diocesan events.

What's Happening in the Diocese?

Diocesan Pilgrimage

The Diocesan Pilgrimage began with a highly-successful visit to Bluff, Ruapuke Island and Stewart Island in March 2011.  The second leg of the Pilgrimage visited Milton, Lawrence and Gabriel's Gully in April, and the third, in October, took in both shores of Otago Harbour.  The Pilgrimage will continue in 2012; further information will be posted on the Pilgrimage page here as it becomes available.
